Noén is making afterplay a bigger part of our everyday rituals. A moment long over looked, afterplay is a point of transition from intimacy, sex, vulnerability into our lives outside of the bedroom. The more we nurture it, the more we can bring the energy of connection into our daily lives.
OUR INSPIRATION
Our brand is rooted in Ancient Egyptian beauty and wellness routines. A time and place where sex was a form of health and sensuality was a ritual people practiced. Our name is derived from the root of ‘noein,’ meaning ‘to think’ in Ancient Greek and ‘to tremble’ in Egyptian Coptic. Its focus lies in bringing the physical and emotional together to create a more comprehensive intimacy.
OUR FOUNDERS
Marisa Goldstein and Natalie Mankarious started Noén after the realization that intimacy, though arguably the most important thing we’ll ever do, is hardly ever seen in all its shapes and forms out in the open. We wanted to create something that helped people explore and talk about it all — the good, the bad, the awkward, the mind expanding. Not just the orgasm, but all the moments around it.
